If we define the word “Pharmacy”, it is the clinical health science that links medical science with chemistry and it is charged with the discovery, production, disposal, safe and effective use, and control of medications and drugs.

Bengal college of pharmaceutical technology was established in 2019 at Dubrajpur,Birbhum (the land of red soil) with a vision of emerging as a renowned pharmacy institute carving the youth as competent, valued, ethical entrepreneur and self-reliant pharmacist of global repute for the wellbeing of the humanity. BCPT provides Diploma and Bachelor Degree courses in pharmacy. It is affiliated by Maulana Abul Kalam University of Technology (MAKAUT) & West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational and Skill Development (WBSCT&VE&SD). It is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (P.C.I) & All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The college is managed by Samriddhi Educational And Cultural Development Trust, fully from philanthropic viewpoint , servicing of the humanity is the motto of the Trust & BCPT itself also, and expanding the pharmacy education is their main objective. The institute has well stocked library, modern laboratories, offering latest technology equipment and smart classrooms. The college provides an environment of equality and multi-culturalism. BCPT college started with a team of experienced and energetic faculties for making the institute one of the “Centre of excellence in the field of pharmaceutical education” also being successful in motivating the students and staff towards the goal.
