SMART AC CLASSROOM

Separate classroom are available for conducting the M.Pharm, B.Pharm & D.Pharm classes. There are total 11 classrooms are constructed with well-ventilated and equipped, fully Air conditioner with Digital smart board, single chair table desk, LCD projector and OHP to meet audiovisual needs for effective delivery of the lectures as well as conventional teaching for faculty. Classrooms have comfortable seating arrangement.

PHARMACEUTICS LAB

Pharmaceutics laboratory at Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Technology is well established with modern instruments for the formulation and evaluation of various types of dosage form. Pharmaceutical laboratory introduces the design, development & evaluation of drugs in combined with different type dosage form. Student will complete the course with knowledge and skills applicable for a variety of practical knowledge in designing the dose, manufacturing technology. The students will understand the concepts of dosage forms, dosage preparation and drug stability.

PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY LAB

The Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Technology is well equipped with laboratories and equipment. Bengal college of pharmaceutical technology has always focused on quality education and so our Chemistry lab is fully equipped with all types of apparatus, equipment’s and sophisticated machineries which are required for the beneﬁt of our students which would be beneﬁcial for them in preparing them for their professional careers. There are suﬃcient quantity of chemicals and instruments like Muﬄe furnace, potentiometer, pH meter, conductivity meter etc.

PHARMACOLOGY LAB

A well-equipped pharmacology laboratory helps to carryout various types of pharmacology and bio assay experiments. Specially designed instruments such as analgesiometer, rotarod, kymograph, histamine chamber, plethysmograph to carry advanced experiments. The intuitive software present in the laboratory provides videographic illustrations about the animal models and experiments. Students will be beneﬁtted with proper usage of the instruments and carrying out the scientiﬁc procedures.

PHARMACOGNOSY LAB

In Bengal college of pharmaceutical technology, we are always focused on imparting quality knowledge hence our state-of-the-art Pharmacognosy Lab is fully equipped with all types of necessary apparatus, equipment’s and sophisticated machineries which the students utilize for their better understanding of the subject and prepare themselves for the rigorous grinding and sharpening of acquired knowledge to serve the industry with their full potential.

PHARMACY PRACTICE LAB

Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Technology is well equipped with laboratories to give the students hands on training in the ﬁeld of Pharmacy Practice. The Pharmacy Practice lab is used regularly for Objective Structured Clinical Examination in teaching and assessment settings. Department of Pharmacy Practice is well collaborated with renowned hospitals of the area in Dubrajpur, Birbhum. Student training in the pharmacy practice lab and hospital prepare them as they approach real patients with skill, conﬁdence and professionalism making them practice-ready from the very beginning of their professional career.

HUMAN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY

Anatomy and Physiology are one of the most prominent and crucial subjects of medical and Pharmacy education. Studding anatomy students will lead to structure, framing, and the relationship between body parts. Whereas studding Physiology will deal with the study of functions of body parts as a whole. A variety of models are their explaining the body parts of human system as well as these functions.

PHARMACEUTICAL MICROBIOLOGY LAB

The Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Technology is well equipped with laboratories and equipment. Our laboratory provides laminar air ﬂow, autoclave, hot air oven and also helps the student to know about bacterial culture. In this laboratory student will learn about sterility testing of pharmaceutical product, method of identiﬁcation, cultivation and preservation of viruses. Our laboratory provides various sterility testing of pharmaceutical products that it will be very helpful for the students for future aspects.

PHARMACEUTICAL ENGINEERING LAB

Pharmaceutical Engineering is mostly concerned with medicine and pharmaceuticals. Students are exposed to chemical processes and their applications, which aids in the advancement of new technologies in this area while also improving student skills. This course is for students who have a strong desire to learn more about science and medical research and also beneﬁcial, for others who choose to work in the pharmaceutical industry.

MACHINE ROOM

The Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Technology is having a well-established Machine room containing various machines required for various Unit Operations simulating with Pharmaceutical Industry Unit operations. The machine room equipped with most advanced instruments and machinery used in manufacturing of tablets, capsules, injectables, liquid orals and ointment sections.

INSTRUMENTS ROOM

Instrument room is the heart of pharmacy as it gives a through knowledge of the instruments and its working. This room consists of UV, HPLC helps in analysing the drugs and drug products. These instruments helps in giving and overview of modern pharmaceutical industries. These laboratory provides a window for young and aspiring pharmacist to be well educated with the manufacturing aspect of different formulation in real time.

COMPUTER & LANGUAGE LAB

Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Technology has a high technology fully air-conditioned computer lab equipped with systems of latest conﬁguration. High speed internet access is available in the lab for all the students. They do comprehensive research for their projects and presentation. The students are trained to use basic software like windows, MS-Oﬃce. In our computer lab all the computers are well equipped with hardware and software resources. In our computer lab power back up is also good. We have enough numbers of computer for all the students. The language laboratory is an audio-visual installation used in modern teaching methods to learn foreign languages. The Laboratory is effectively utilized by students and faculty members for various self-enhancement and soft skill development activities. The basic purpose of the lab is to provide students a platform to enhance English language skills, communication skills and to practice soft skills.
